Interesting new from the Sony camp today. on K-mart usa’s website, this image was posted stating that a new exciting ps3 is on the way a long with a new price(299). Looks like it will be released during GAMESCOM in cologne Germany Next week.

Along with the K-mark info, Sony has also announced that the PSN(PlayStation Network) and the PlayStation website will both be down for maintenance. Conveniently this outage will be during their KeyNote at GamesCom.

Is this Apple’s brand new device? Rumors have been flying around for the last year about an Apple netbook, and tablet. This mourning this image was leaked of the supposed Apple Tablet. Some thing is coming for this holiday season for sure. Only time will tell what it is, but you never know. In terms of design that sure does look like an apple product.

Today I accidentally found this little hidden feature. Now if this has been found before I’m sorry and I apologise but from what I’ve been seeing there’s nothing about this any where else.

Here’s the back story. If you have a “next gen” blackberry, Bold, Curve 8900, Tour, or Storm, you are able to upgrade top the recently leaked Blackberry Messenger 5.0. I did so earlier today and ill post a link to the download to CrackBerry as well to the 8900 version of the BBM5.0 download(if i can find links to the other downloads i will post them as well.) That being said upgrade at your own risk as this is a Leaked version.

Now to find the hidden feature is simple. If you go to your Blackberry messenger 5.0 contact list, click on the BB button and then go to add a contact. You must then select to scan a friends BARCODE. Once you do this your camera will be activated and you can scan the barcode. This is a great feature alone for its intended use(to add contacts without typing in PIN’s) but from what Ive discovered it has a hidden use. If you can find a barcode(the one above is the only one Ive found so far) that is encoded with a URL, scan that instead of your friends barcode, and it will actually open that url in the browser.

UPDATE: I forgot to mention that the barcode above will take you to wikipedia, i believe its the entry for “blog” although it doesn’t matter. If you can find more scanable barcode examples e-mail me at dave@b2basiks.com

I’m back into the whole leak game. Once again i must stress PLEASE DONT STEAL MUSIC! Use this as a tool in order to decide if you want to spend money on the music. I am yet to listen to the album but i will post a nice little download link to the new album.

The Band has been working on this album for just about 3 years now so it should be awesome. Please check it out and let your friends know about the site. If you like the album go buy it and go see the band live and support them. Were all about the music and letting people decide what to spend money on rather than forcing people to buy music they may end up hating.
