Have a PC? Want a Mac? Don’t wanna spend 1000$ for an apple logo? Psystar Has the answer for you. Late this week,they rose from the dead and they attacking like angry apple hating zombie freaks.

For those of you who don’t know who Psystar is, here’s a very quick history. When Apple switched to an intel chip-set a few years back, nerds around the world rejoiced, in hopes that Apple would soon release a new version OSX that would run on non Apple hardware. Unfortunately this didn’t happen. So people took things into their own hands, made their own patched versions of Mac OSX that could run on some PC hardware. Sure now it was possible to get OSX installed on your PC, but it was buggy, certain things didn’t work, and it was an all around hassle. One day a nice little company decided they would build their own PC’s with fairly good specs, and their own home made boot loader. This boot loader would allow them to install OSX on almost any hardware, with and unmodified version of OSX. This obviously didn’t last long and Apple tried, (tried being a very important word) to sue Psystar. Of course the case as of today still has not been settled, but Psystar decided they were no longer going to sell computers.

Late this week, Psystar rose from the did with a nice little surprise. They had been secretly refining their boot-loader. That boot-loader is now called, Rebel-EFI. Due to technicalities, Psystar is probably going to get away Scott free on this one. There is not much any company can do. They aren’t selling Mac OSX on machines, nor are they even selling instructions. Simply a piece of software that allows you to install any OS on any INTEL based PC.

The software doesn’t exactly come cheap. At a price of 50$ it is definitely worth it though. They even let you download it for free as a trial that allows you to boot an operating system for 2 hours. after 2 hours it will reboot without warning.(not fun)

I’m hoping to get my hands on the software, and an Intel based machine (im regretting the AMD decision right now). Once I get my hand on the software and a PC ill test it out record it and post up a review.

Ahh Brazil. In the world of soccer if you ever want to see strange events, Brazil is on top of that list. Ball boys scoring goals, lineswoman pose for playboys, player up for suspension for nearly 2 years for touching another player, and now apparently ghosts play the game too! What a shame, it was the ghosts debut, hes not gonna make fans with tackles like that.
