Due out in about 2 weeks I couldn’t wait for this album! Drake debut album Thank Me Later is due out on June 15th. Featuring Artists from Jay Z to Young Money team mate Nicki Manaj, this album is 15 tracks, each one a hit on its own.

I was able to get a copy of the album and havent stopped listening to it for the past 2 days. One of my favourite albums of the year so far.

Its a lot of the same signature drake. This album shows how much of a star this guy is going to be.

Definitely pick up this album in stores next week.

Hey guys and gals! Welcome to the brand new Bak 2 Basiks. Ive been working on this site for the past week or so and am really happy with the outcome. Please keep in mind that the site is still technically in BETA. For those not in the whole tech lingo, what that means is that there are bugs, there are minor problems and small spacing glitches that I am working on.

I was going to keep the site under maintenance mode until it was 100% in my eyes but I have decided to open it up due to the breaking twitter story.

Things we are working on:

Brand new Basik Logo! For all of our sites.
Promotion.
Finding writers.
Getting some events lined up. Both 19+ and All Ages.
New Segments and weekly stories like tack of the week and stupid people on Facebook!

Those are all things that were working towards. So if you think you can help in any of those ways please let us know at dave@b2basiks.com.

So lets talk about the new Site.

The new site has been testing on both Macs and PC’s running almost every browser and they for the most part work just as I would expect them to.

This is our brand new Menu! Its elegantly designed with the fancy new slider which I play with just to watch it shoot across the screen. As far as my testing goes, I don’t know of any bugs with it, IT WORKS GREAT! I have even tested it on unbelievably slow and worn out computers and it works fine.

Above noted is our Read More button. From now on we will be taking advantage of it. With the exception of this article. If its a very long article we will only show the first paragraph or so just to give you a taste of the article. If you want to read the rest of it you will have to click read more. This Is the way it works with most blogs in order to declutter the home page.  We will use this method for the time being and we will see if it works for us. If not we will revert to full stories on the home page.

This is our new search tool Its actually quite cool and minimalist. The search bar is actually hidden behind the little magnifying glass. To search just click on it, type in your search and press enter.

Using the Share this button is actually awesome. With the click of a button you can instantly share the articles on our site with any one on almost every social network including Digg, Facebook, twitter, myspace, and a whole buncha other ones I’ve never heard of.

Oh the Featured Slider! How much I love you! As much as these featured sliders have been a pain in my ass and are impossible to set up and get working properly. We finally have one. It works, and its awesome. It works very well how ever on on older PC’s bugs out and glitches some times but does not affect the usability or readability of the site AT ALL. This Slider is awesome and will will allow you to see the top stories on the site right now that we really want you to read.

Earlier today a bug within twitter was found. I wont explain how to do it because the bug has currently fucked every one over!

So if you took advantage of this bug, as I did! you were able to force any one on twitter to follow you! How awesome would it be to have Oprah following you?! Apparently so awesome that you now have 0 followers…

This bug took advantage of Twitters tagging system and allowed unsolicited follows. Unfortunately for those who took advantage of the bug they now have 0 followers. Including Conan O’Brien, and myself!

Lets hope that they fix it and give every one gets there followers back *finger-Crossed*.

UPDATE: It is happening to more and more people as time rolls on. Internet celebrities alike such as Jeff Cannata of The Totally Rad show is also now affected.

I cant believe they are this desperate for viewers! Kids live Nudity, Language, Violence, Rape, and strong sexual. WHAT THE HELL IS STRONG SEXUAL?!
